Have any of you played or looked at "Murat Diril" cymbals? I've been checking out the website, and got some prices, which seem insanely cheap for hand hammered cymbals.

I've been talking to one guy who bought a full set for e375 and he says they're almost identical to Sabian HHx's. I'm seriously tempted to buy a few, but im just wondering if anyone else has any experiences?

I've emailed them for a price too. Sent the email last night, and when i got into work this morning the reply was there with a quotation! Its fantastic value assuming the cymbals are as good as people i've spoken to say.

I think im gonna buy a 17+18" crash, and 12" china. For €200 inc shipping how bad can it be??!

That's excellent....if it's B20 man....it's great value....the guy seems to know what he's doing...he invented the Byzonce series for Meinl....their best cymbal and then he moved onto Paiste and made their best 20 series cymbals!

    I sent a request for;
    Renaissance 10" Splash
    Renaissance 13" Hats
    Renaissance 16" Thin China
    Renaissance 19" Crash
    Renaissance (Jazz) 18" Crash
    Renaissance (Black Sea) 21" Ride

    I wonder!

just don't be surprised if they get held by customs, factor that into your prices. stopping alot of stuff these days to generate some monies.

Plus depending who you're shipping with will almost definitely incur a cost as they get to charge you for clearing your shipment. about 15 euro I think. + vat + duty.

I've seen alot of threads on here about importing things and people getting a shock at having to dish out more money.

Just a heads up :) happy drummin.

Yeah...but aint that for outside europe?
I know ya could argue that Turkey is a Eurasian country! :)
I don't think customs can tax items from Turkey....I should look into this! :)
Thanks for the heads up mate.

Seriously tempted by those hats actually, just listening to them on the site.......

The 22" Jazz Ride also sounds lovely...... Oh God I really should be saving any money I get.

They emailed me their new price list the other day. Its a bit more expensive than what it was previously, but still represents very good value for money.

I think when i get paid at the end of the month i'll be investing. If anyone wants it, pm me.
