Optoma HD65 Replacement Lamp

Have had this projector for a year now (excellent piece of kit) but the lamp has finally given in. I've used it a lot, to be fair. But starting to miss it already!!

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get a replacement lamp? There are loads available online but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a particular place. For a decent price obviously.

Going to have to get one of these soon myself. Not sure how much time I have left on mine. Have had it about 14 months now.

Had mine for a year but to be fair its been on all the time. I can't watch a movie or play a game on anything else. No going back!!

I just posted those sites as options as I had seen them being mentioned around and being recommended along with cvsmedia, but you had that covered. I did not do a price comparison or stock check.

Sorry Eddie. I didn't mean to sound rude. It is always good to have more options.

I looked into that first link you posted and it said that they would pricematch. I filled in their form, pointing them to cvsmedia, and they said I would hear from them in the next 24 hours. Haven't heard a peep yet and it has been almost 48.

No worries, I also seen a thread over on avforums where it seems there is a short supply of HD65 Bulbs along with prices starting to rise to the £170+ region. :eek:

I may be too late, but I came across this thread while searching for the cheapest place to buy a (whole) hd65. Anyway....dabs have a replacement bulb for €139....not too shabby.

Also out of stock but not a bad price at all at all. Nice one. Will keep an eye on that to come back in too.

Mega bump, but this thread comes up on google so thought I'd throw this in here. I got a replacement bulb + housing + delivery for around 138 euro from here. Delivery took about a week (because they had to order it in). Works fine so far.
