Do Ryanair sell cheap flights at the airport, to help fill planes that aren't full? Has anyone done this, tried it or have experience of it?

my mother had to go to london last minute from shannon, and it cost €300 from shannon to gatwick with ryan air. I went with a pre booked flight months in advance on same flight and it cost €17.50c.

No chance. You can get cheaper with a frills carrier than you can with Ryanair at the airport.

Example - about €200 to fly on the day with Ryanair and was €70 with Aer arann

They screw you if you arrive at their ticket desk at the airport. I think you can book online up to 4 hours before departure, thats the way to go.

Hey I work at the airport. And a definite NO! The only thing you can buy from ryanair at the airport is pay for baggage/checkin etc and remember for ryanair :

Nothing is ever cheaper at the airport. Its ryanair.
