No H.264/MPEG-4 support and isn't full HD quality..notice the 1080i not 1080p..1080i is roughly the same quality (viewable) as 720p

To be fair, it's a great price considering it's networked.

Ah crap, I thought it had a hdd in it.

I have a 1TB SATA hdd full of films and work related stuff and Im looking for a media player enclosure to put it in since my last great one died and I cant find it again, the last few Ive tried from Ebay have been dire and Ive sold them on again straight away, the WD one isnt an option either as I need it to be all the one unit, anyone seen any good ones lately?

No its not. You get the full 1080 lines and all the detail associated with 1080p but you get de interlacing artefacts depending on the type of scene.

I'd be interested in this as well-but the lack of video support is a concern-can anyone suggest something with better video support that I could use a comparison?

Sorry for the dumb question but would this enable me to stream from my PC to a TV anywhere in the house (Sky Player etc). I have a wireless router that I connect to the internet through. Cheers
