Turned my box (UPC DVR) on tonight, at first there was no signal, now I have to select a country...

Select Ireland and it takes me to a screen asking for a UPC Activation Code (3 digits)...

    Anyone know wtf this is?

    Hi dangerousdavid,

    1. Does the DVR show the time on the front when in standby?

    2. Can you watch normal analogue channels through your TV set only (take the TV signal cable directly from the wall to the TV)?

    3. Are all the cables intact and connected correctly?

    4. Have you recently recieved a new card from UPC?

    Cheerio
