Break Irish Record = 44.76 or quicker,
Break World Record = 43.17 or quicker, Record must be ratified,
Break Euro record = 44.32 or quicker.

I think Gillick is going to Bring it this year in the final and at 7-2 that looks the best value bet for him to break the national record.
I actually didnt relaise how close he is to the european record but 4 tenths is abit in 400m terms.

I can see him breaking again this year but i dont feel the championships is the place to that it after all the rounds will take a good bit out of him

Hard to know. I think pwhite could be a good guy to ask as he seems to have an insight into odds as well as having a great insight into athletics.

I think he can break it again. Also remember there is talk that the two big guys (Merritt and Wariner) are nursing a niggle or two so may not be at 100%. What odds on a medal?

    I agree and disagree:D
If he peaks at the championships he should break it in the semi final or final.
I don't think the 400m mens is as loaded as it has been the last few years.
LaShawn Merrit is in a class of his own this year with Warriner not at his best.
if you check an over all rankings on mens 400m running Chris Brown would be the number 3 and Gillick came within an inch of beating him in his last race.
