    Hi all

Does anyone know if you claim dental expenses from 2003?

I paid 1260 to go to a dental hospital for the extraction of teeth and Id like to get something back.

It was a fair bit of money and it would be nice to get something back this year, bearing in mind the wedding expenses and all!!

    Many Thanks

    STBW

You may not be entitled to anything (but I may be wrong).

See the end of page 3 on this document http://www.revenue.ie/forms/med1.pdf
    Expenses that do not qualify
The cost of sight testing and the provision and maintenance of spectacles and contact lenses
Routine dental treatment which is defined as “the extraction, scaling and filling of teeth and the provision and repair
    of artificial teeth and dentures”.

It's 2009 so you can only claim back as far as 2005 (four years)
