????? Don't understand what you mean. Would just like to know where I can buy tickets to surprise my husband - did I do something wrong???

Ah, I feel I owe you an apology, my bad. in the coffee&tea forum we often get first timers posting about certain chains as a sneaky advertising ploy. Their IP addresses usually show the chains name up. Sorry for doubting you.
As far as tickets are concerned then I'd say the IRFU website is your best bet http://www.irishrugby.ie/12644_898.php

The tickets can be hard to come by unfortunately. I'd imagine there'll be high demand and most of them will end up with the clubs and IRSC.

If you join the Irish Rugby Supporters Club (€50) you normally get the chance to buy tickets.

    Probably your best bet.

Do Irish people follow the English league?

Supporters club tickets go on sale on the 20th of August. Hopefully it will be better than the mess when trying to buy tickets last year.

The Guiness Series is the November Internationals, not the English Guinness Premiership.

There seems to be no mention of how many you can buy at all in the e-mail or on the site - I was thinking 1 because of the way everything was written. The Australia and SA games are a package so it's €140 for the two.

The limit will be 2 packages per supporters club member buying.

as an experienced match attender I can safely say its bleeding freezing no matter where you are (especially once its dark)...but I know someone who swears by standing in a packed Hill you are warmer than sitting in the cold

    invest in thermals!!

ah true - and a hip flask helps!

I should mention im blind as a bat - so trying to see whats goin on the far end of the pitch means i wont be on the hill .......

Terraces are significantly better for when its cold tbh - mostly cus you don't have a cold seat under your arse (the goddamn things never warm up :P)

I dunno Crash, that ache that runs up through your legs when standing still for too long on a cold night can be a killer, especially if you have any intentions of heading out afterwards. Cold arse vs frozen feet - it's a horrible catch 22.

Boards Rugby forum needs a corporate box.
