Anybody know when (or if) Eircom exchanges to be BB enabled ?

    Hi all,
    Are Eircom still planning to Broadband the exchanges they said they would before the end of this year ?

    I'm going to be moving to Westmeath, and I see my local exchange, Moyvore, is on the planned list for 2009 : see here.

    Or has the recession put a stop to this work ?

    If anybody has any ideas/heard anything please reply !

    If youre lucky you'll get it in december. Those estimates are always optimistic; i was waiting up till 2 years after they announced the exchange near me was going live.

    In fairness they are getting through the last list (350) and schedule they announced last year. ~250 done so far this year.

    Moyvore is listed for Q4 2009.
