    Any coffee (including large) plus:

    Any pastry: €3.50
    Any sambo: €5
    Any wrap: €6

Love their coffees and the fact you can get a large one!

they've been running this for a good while - the €6 one is actually any coffee + panini. a lot of the other coffee shops are running similar deals now too, so not really a huge bargain.

I read an interview with the guy who owns Insomnia - they were running a "buy 2, get 1 free" offer previously but they were apparently making a loss on it as food actually costs them money, whereas coffee is virtually all profit, hence the current deals.

Well they were losing money on that as the coffees were 3.20 average so lot of people were buying the muffin deal and then giving the muffin away if they didn't eat it themselves !

do they allow non-coffee drinks in the offer (even the watered down soft drinks)?

The 3 for 2 deal was great, I went everyday for lunch for a while cause I could get a coffee, sandwich and cake slice for like €6.

Oh come on, thats the price they have it for sale, it's not in any way the price it costs to make said coffee. At 3 euro for a coffee and muffin they would still have been making money, just not a lot of money.

Muffin at most €1.10 from supplier in bulk, coffee at most €1 (generous costing) to make. Factored into both are staff, premises costs and VAT.
