Put on any season of Spaced,turn on the movie reference subtitles and everytime they make one,take a shot.

You will be wasted by the end of the first episode guaranteed!

Then there is the inevitable fighting over if you drink twice for the same reference when its a sequel,prequel etc.

Got destroyed last week playing Roxanne. Just put on the song and take a shot every time they say Roxanne. Everyone was drinking beer, I was drinking Southern Comfort. And I didn't come last.

Get a deck of cards, and 4 or 5 (Or more) people.

1.)Everyone gets a card face down,
2.)Turn them all over at the same time.
3.)Lowest card skulls a can.
4.)Repeat as required.

Works a treat, Everyone is pissed within about 40 min.

Kings is the only one I've ever played but the rules are always diffferent depending on who you play with so I never know what is happening...

Did this in San Diego a few weeks ago. It was only up to 60 minutes and about 30 people started off in it. A few dropped out before the hour, most dropped out on the hour. There was 3 of us left and I had to drop out after over 100 shots to have a piss (tried doing it in a bottle under the table as the others were doing but shy bladder syndrome and all that).

6 shots was the equivalent of a 330ml can so by the hour we had drunk 10 cans each. I blacked out soon after finishing (it doesn't take much for me to black out but I just tend to continue drinking). I think the last 2 went on to 150, 2 Aussies.

Sociables Official Rules

First mix the deck and place entire deck face down and spread out on the table.

Everyone then takes turns in taking a card.

Each card is different and if you get a rule or bitch card the rule stands until the next person draws the card again.

No-one can leave the table for a bathroom break without punishment - see rule for Six.

The Cards

* Ace - Sociables!!! Everyone drinks, But be wary! if you don't cheers everyone playing then you forfeit and have to drink double.
* Two, Three or Four - If the card is red then you can give that amount of drinks to someone. If its black then you have to take them. You can split the drinks between people also if its red.
* Five - Bitch Card!! The single most evil yet fun card in the game. If you draw one the you can nominate someone playing to be your bitch. The person nominated has to do EVERYTHING told to them by the person who drew the card. No matter how stupid the task. Failure to do what you told results in drinking double. The card stands until the next five is drawn.
* Six - Pee Card. Whoever has this card is able to take a loo break without drinking. Whoever goes without a Pee card has to drink double on returning to the game.
* Seven - Multiples - This one's a counting game. At the start, whoever draws the card has to come up with a phrase to be said every time either a number with a seven in it or a multiple of seven. First person to screw up drinks.
* Eight - Word Ass - This one is a quick fire round. The first person says a word and when it goes to the next they have to say a different word but one that's associated with the last. It keeps going round till someone delays too long or the word doesn't make sense.
* Nine - Thumbs - Whoever has the power of thumbs can place their thumb on the table at any time until the next nine. Whoever is the last person to put their thumb down drinks.
* Ten - Story Time - The aim of the game is to come up with a story with each player adding a word to the previous persons sentence. Word can go before or after the sentence but not in the middle. First person to forget part of the full sentence drinks.
* Jack - Rule Card - This enables the player to make a rule of any kind until the next rule card is drawn. The rule can be anything, e.g. People have to drink with left hand. Once another Jack is drawn, the previous is thrown out.
* Queen - Women Drink! - Self explanatory really
* King - Men Drink! - Same for this one.

I'm not sure of the name of the game, but basically you drink a can, then tape the empty can to the bottom of a new can. You have to drink the second can only holding on to the bottom one. Keep doing this, and it becomes impossible to keep drinking using your hands, so you have to find a more inventive way to hold the tower of cans by the bottom. And at that stage youre plastered, so fun all round.

No Kings is you get the whole pack and spread them out face down on a table and everyone gets a go picking up a card....

every card has a meaning like Ace- make a rule, 9- bust a rymthe, 4 touch the floor....

everyone kinda dreads the king card though... you put a pint glass in the middle of the table at the start and whoever gets a king has to pour there drink in to fill a quarter of the glass, so by the third king you could have wine mixed with beer mixed with vodka in it and whoever gets the last king downs the mixture!

unfortunetly i happen to get the last king most of the time!

drinking to roxanne is a pretty good way to get hammered, half the group drink when sting says "roxanne", the other half drink when he says red "light". it seems easy at first but you get hammered but the end!

also not really a drinking game but rather a game to play while drunk is ultimate darts, me and my mates play, your feet cant be touching the ground when you throw the dart so you get all sort of spins and turns and fancy pants throwing which usually ends in blood, but a very small amount of blood so i guess thats good in comparison the what people get up to when hammered these days!!

Pour an arrogant measure of whatever you're drinking into a pint glass, flip a coin and call heads/tails, you guess correctly it gets passed onto the next person and they pour their arrogant measure and flip the coin until someone guesses wrong and has to down the lot.

Great craic, especially when it's a mixture of wine,beer,vodka,rum and you're not the one who has to drink it.

Actually i'l just give a list of the card meanings ! (Some people might play with different rules so dont tell me i'm wrong it's just the way I play! Theres loads of different ways to play)

Spread all the cards out on the table face down and the first person has to take one card and turn it face up, every card has a meaning. It then goes to the next person going clockwise and same thing happens!

Ace... Make a rule, like No pointing or No saying anyones name or else you drink your drink.(you can make up any rule)

2..... F*ck You, Everybody except the person who got the card has to drink

3..... F*ck Me, the person who got the card drinks.

4..... Touch the floor, everybody has to touch the floor, last person to do it drinks.

5..... Guys, only the guys drink.

6..... Chicks, only the girls drink.

7..... Touch the heaven, everybody has to put their hand in the air, last to do it drinks.

8..... Pick a mate, whenever you drink they drink too. gets interesting when theres a chain of mates!

9..... Bust a rymthe, say a sentence and the next person has to rymthe with the last word in the sentence, if they cant they drink. This goes around clockwise

10.... Toilet master, only the person with this card can go or you can dare the person that wants to go to do something like down their drink. I.E give them a forfit

Jack... Waterfall, you start downing your drink, when you start the person on your left starts etc clockwise all around the table, when the person on your right stops you can stop if you want.

Queen.... Question master/ thumb rule, you can ask anyone a question when you have this card and if they answer you they have to drink.
The thumb rule you can place your thumb on the edge of the table and when people notice your doing it they do it too without saying anything till the last person does it has to drink.
We play either one cant decide which is better!

King..... When you get a king pour your drink into the empty pint glass in the middle of the table and fill a quarter of the glass, so by the last king there could be all sorts of drink in it considering what everyones drinking. 4 Kings=4 quarters of the pint. When a person gets the last king they pour their drink in to finish the last quarter of the pint and then down the mixture!

Game is over then!

we play one where if it's a red card from 2-8 you've to drink for that many seconds, if it's black you nominate someone to drink for that many seconds, if it's a 9 you start a rhyme, when a person can't rhyme with it they drink,
a 10 is last person to stand up drinks, a jack is nobody can go to the toilet without your permission, a queen is nobody can answer any question you ask if they do they drink, a king is if you scratch you chin at any time the last person to do it drinks, an ace means you invent any rule ya want, eg no first/last names
Get you ****ed up and the ace rules are what makes it fun.
j-k only last until the next one is dealt, ace rules stay for the game

Put on Led Zeppelin II and every time you hear the word baby or a solo you have to drink.

Another is not exactly a 'drinking game' but you and a few mates all go out and buy a couple of crates of the same branded beer. Then play "The Beer-Hunter". Basically everyone takes a go at shaking the hell out of one or a couple of the cans as much as you can then mix it back up with the rest of them.

Every time anyone goes to open a new beer they have to do it close beside their head or crotch. Messy and tense but a good laugh.

This game use to be one of my favourites when I was a bit younger. Also liked 5's and 7's. Really simple concept, first person starts off at one, second calls two, and so on. Any time you come to a number with 5 or 7 in it you have to skip it, so 1,2,3,4,6,8. Simple. To make it slightly harder any number that is also a multiple of 5 or 7 is skipped also, so it goes something like 9,11,12,13,16,18,19,22. Try to get to 50+ as people get drunker and drunker:D

Fúck You is good.

You get a deck of cards. Give everyone playing 3 or 4 cards. Take the rest of the cards and place them in a triangle shape. Sit in a circle. The first player turns over a card on the bottom row of the triangle, says Fúck You X, where X is the name of another player. That player then has to drink for 2 seconds. This goes on around the circle. On the first row players drink for 2 seconds, on the second row they drink for 4, on the third for 6 etc. If a card is turned over and another player (or the player turning over the card) has that card, they can put that card down, and then they get to choose who gets 'fúcked', only this time the person getting fúcked must drink for the double the amount of time which that card represents.
