Well , I am surprised that Carl Froch is big favourite to win the tournament .

As short as 7/4 on William Hill's

    Best odds so far :

    Carl Froch - 5/2
    Mikkel Kessler - 11/4
    Arthur Abraham - 7/2
    Jermaine Taylor -6/1
    Andre Ward - 10/1
    Andre Dirrell -14/1

I'll be having a look at Andre Dirrell here , and have him with a good chance of beating Froch in the first fight .

Also , odds for "Juan Diaz vs Paulie Malinaggi" are interesting : 1/6 vs. 4/1

Pacman vs Cotto odds are out with Skybet -
    Pac-man 1/2 vs Cotto 6/4 .

    Food for thought

Taylor is going to be out for revenge. I think he will win it. But I dont really care. This is going to be great!:D

I would go with Kessler or, if he can get motivated, Taylor.

Regardless of who wins I think it is great for the division.

Assuming he's mentally right i'd go with Taylor, he was quality before Pavlik destroyed him..

Rush Boxing club and Rush Martial Arts head coach.

If Taylor cannot motivate himself for this tournament he should jump of a cliff.

I'm going with Kessler - I think Froch is going to be involved in some very exciting fights.

I can't believe this is actually going to happen :D

it's not a question of motivation for Taylor, it's his stamina issues that will be his undoing as it was against Pavlik and Froch. Taylor was giving Froch a boxing lesson untill he ran out of gas. As odd-job says it's suprising Froch is a favourite. My money is on Kessler or Abraham to win this thing. I just hope injuries don't cause too many delays.

Personally I do not think its motivation with Talyor - I was replying to a previous post. I just don't rate Taylor.

Abraham could be an outside bet but the guy is really unproven against this level of comp.

Kessler really is the class act in all this and is very much the man to beat but its absolutley madness to bet on him,or any of the other five, when the outcome is 2 years away.

For all Dirrells' shouting he will get hammered by Froch,Kessler, providing he comes through his mandatory ok in September should have too much for Ward and i think Taylor will lose on points in Germany to Abraham.

Very, very surprised at Froch being the betting favourite here. Although I like him, I just don't see him winning all his fights. I agree with Odd-Job here and think Dirrell could well beat him and is definitely worth a pop to win on points.

Kessler (depending on his mindset) seems the class act here, but Abraham is terribly dangerous and now that he won't be struggling to make middleweight anymore I wouldn't be putting any money against him.

Ward, although relatively untested and still with question marks over his chin, could be the dark horse here. Seems overpriced and has fantastic boxing ability, so...

well its gonna be a great tournament and i can't wait to see who wins it, as i think the 3 americans are right to be the outsiders as for me any one from Froch, Kessler or Abraham will win it, i just hope to see some cracking fights.
