    hi,

im nearly 20 and i kind of feel like im a robot, im not really able to show affection to girls, even though i went to a mixed school when girls tried to act 'pally' with me by giving a hug i'd be so confused and want away immediately.

i dont have any emotions, and i feel i'll always be like this with girls.

It's hard to just change your personality, all I could advise you to do is to discuss this with a good friend, or even better do you have a sister around your own age? Failing that, if you want to be more open with girls you have to work on it. Force yourself to change, get out of your comfort zone. Anyway, are you sure you're not just working this up too much in your head? You already have interactions with girls, so it's not like you're scaring them off, is it? And not all girls like really affectionate guys anyway.

I'll bet your relationships with girls will get better as you get older anyway, just be patient. When I was your age I didn't know any girls!

Do you mean that you don't feel like you have any emotions AT ALL? If so maybe you should see someone - if you're in college there might be a doctor or councellor you can see for free. I'm sure you do have emotions but it's very unhealthy to keep them totally blocked for your whole life (I've seen this happen and it doesn't lead to happiness when you're older - trust me).

Or is it just to do with girls? If so, I wouldn't worry about it as you are still young and these things do come easier over time. Girls are only people and you don't have to be affectionate with all your friends anyway.
