White card activation time?

The in-laws have received their new white Sky card. Only thing is it hasn't activated despite being left in the Sky box overnight.

Anyone with experience of the white card? How long did your's take to activate?

mine took a minute or so.

Mine took all of 30 seconds to be working again, on both Sky and Sky+

The new cards should activateut in about 20 seconds. You will get prompts on screen whilst you wait for the card to activate.

I have received a few calls from people regarding their new cards and most of them were because they had placed the card in the wrong slot, depending on which box you have, there is usually a drop down door often bottom right hand corner hidng the location of the exsisting card. Did you remove the old card before inserting the new card, or did they put the card in the interactive slot instead in wonder???

Thanks all. They're not using their original Sky box (it's dead), so I'm inclined to think that's the problem.

Ive had to ring them to activate the card as it would not activate...turns out it would not activate for them as i had to ring them 5 times so they had to send a replacement.
