I think a Thread for IPhone users who are neglecting their partners, wife, husbands, lovers etc in this Forum might be appropriate.

Maybe quotes or excuses that might be useful so that you can get away with extended use of the IPhone. Here's 2 that come to mind:

"Its not that i don't love you, its just i love my IPhone More!!" - probably not the best thing to say to my girlfriend, but she knows where she stands - Honesty is the best policy!

Another one i read somewhere:
"The Iphone is the best thing ever, it never leaves my side......now if i could only find where i left my Wife"

Any other helpful or not heelpful quotes?:D

My missis was jealous until I upgraded and she took possession of my 3G.

Now I'm just afraid she'll figure out how to track my location. :eek:

Oi you, that last quote about mislaying the wife was mine!!!!!!!!

I've since changed my mind as I don't care where I left the wife as long as she doesn't figure out how to get home - her sense of direction is appalling which is why I never bought her a sat nav as I've been trying to lose her for years. I just had a nasty thought.... what if she gets an iphone and uses the apps to find her way home. Right I'm off to buy up every iphone in the country to prevent this!! (only kidding, she's such a technophobe that turning on a light switch is the limit of her abilities).

How do you track someone's location? Is there an app for it or have I overlooked something on my iphone. It would be a useful feature for knowing when to ask the woman I love to leave before the wife gets home

"Google Latitude" allows users to view each of their "friends" locations - not yet available in Ireland tho. Might see if there's an app out there that allow you locate devices.

I'll never lose my iphone cause if I don't have it on me, then one of my kids has. I've suddenly become qite "cool" in the eyes of my eldest daughter and her friends cause I have an iphone. Pity they're only 9 or 10 years of age though. Why couldn't this have happened when she has friends in their late teens :D

Credit to Prosperous Dave on this quote, I've used it a lot since i got the Iphone!!!
