    *****HYLAND CARD UPDATE*****
John Waldron has pulled out of the hyland bill along with Declan Timlin...

Getting a last minute replacement for Jamie Power

Just an awful lack of professionalism from the other 2
waldron has came down with injuries
Declan Timlin Agreed to fight on the card and everything was great but has not answered his phone in weeks so he is ruled out.....

thats all a promoter needs with a week to go to the fight,
other than that everything else is going great, Tickets are flying out the door,
Trust us irish to whip up tickets as soon as a bar in the venue has been confirmed icon_lol.gif

i think waldron just bottled it against Jamie Power and came up with the Injuries
and for timlin he wont be on another hyland promoted show again

Change of opponent for Patrick Hyland, He is now fighting Abdu Tebazalwa a ugandan based in sweden his record is 12-5-0 10kos he looks quite dangerous if you ask me but it has to go ahead at this short notice
Team Herrera never got medicals or visas done in time for the show.

I wouldnt say dangerous - I would say more testing and durable. He doesnt look like he has been stopped in his recent losses and he has a split decision loss against Choi Tseveenpurev which appears a decent result although something tells me Victor Loughlin mixed the fighters up. If Hyland stops him it will be an impress achievement.

Seriously disappointing that. A very good opponent to get on such short notice but it seems a real drop down in standard and as Sligo said(sorry.......Vintage) more durable than dangerous.

But depressing now thay Herrera isn't turning up, Waldron pulled out, Timlin is out, Hughes team didn't want the fight and Long hasn't got a better opponent.

Not quite as good a card as it promised to be, but hopefully it will still be pretty decent and we of course do have the important matter of Eddie Hyland v Oisín Fagan to decide the top Super-Featherweight in the country. Although Kevin O'Hara may have something to say about that.
