"To hell with the blindfold" I'd snap, and stare down the execution squad with a disdainful steely eyed glare, causing the nervous one to fire his rifle into the ground, leading to every one of them missing their shots.

"Damned amateurs!" I'd sneer, breaking free of my bonds, seizing a rifle and finishing the job myself.

God, that would be manly.

Firing squad, even if the lethal injection didnt have the digital sodomy. Firstly, I dont like needles. Secondly, its a fcuking firing squad! Greatest way to be executed, bar none.

Lethal injections are not as peaceful as people think.
The art of hanging is lost so you may not get a neck snap but be slowly strangled.
Multiple shots by the firing squad is painful and again not as instant as people think.

The central nervous system goes into shock and panics when there is no master signal from the brain just like a chicken flapping a bit after it's head cut off.

getting shot below the neck is always painfull so fiiring squad would not be for me , id perfer the chineese way , gun to the temple and good night

Ah you can't be serious! I've always had a fear of being hung, drawn and quartered. I know the chances of it actually happening are fairly slim but in my view it would be the absolute worst way to die, ever!! Can you imagine the pain :eek: On second thoughts erase that thought! I'll have bloody nghtmares tonight now

A brief excerpt as follows:

He was first tortured with red-hot pincers; his hand, holding the knife used in the attempted murder, was burnt using sulphur; molten wax, lead, and boiling oil were poured into his wounds. Horses were then harnessed to his arms and legs for his dismemberment. Damiens' joints would not break; after some hours, representatives of the Parlement ordered the executioner and his aides to cut Damiens' joints. Damiens was then dismembered, to the applause of the crowd. His trunk, apparently still living, was then burnt at the stake.

Firing squad - theyd' want to be accurate
Hanging - sounds nasty and it can go wrong
Lethal injection - is there not a school of thought that it's not as humane as originally thought? It's not as if you can ask the victim "how was it for you?"
