so if you just go to one of the listed pharmacies with your prescription they will fill it for you even though you've never been before? or do you have to register with them. my dad needs his medication shortly but thinks that because his regular pharmacy is not listed, he just won't be able to get is meds. surely that can't be true. can i jsut bring his pres to a listed pharm and get it no problem ?

I had to go to a different pharmacy than usual, but they gave me my medicine no problem.

If it's an unusual medication you may want to go in a week before what you have runs out, so that they can order it.

Phone your pharmacist and ask them have they withdrawn - if they havent but the shop appears shut - you want "to collect your script that you have ordered".... if you continue to have problems in getting medication - if at all feasible go to the pharmacy in the public hospital under whose care you are along with your script.:)

A whole load of pharmacies closed on Thursday in Limerick City to hold meetings. Am not sure if those still in volved in the schemes also closed. so best to ask if your pharmacy will be open on the day you are going in as well.
