    And customise clothes? Dressmaking isn't really what I want.
    And not a really expensive one either! I'm not working at the moment.

    there's a thread in the arts and crafts forum at the moment about sewing and dressmaking courses, suggests a few courses and books etc., so maybe have a look at that! :)

    There is a place called Stitch and Sew on Shantalla Rd near Santry they do courses on sewing and knitiing check them out.

    There is a dressmaking class in Marino College, Fairview, starts the end of September and probably lasts 10 weeks, don't think it's very expensive.
