Thought he was pretty good. Cool gimmick at the time but wrestling outgrew it.

I'll always remember him for being involved in the worst match of all time, The Kennel from Hell Match, featuring humping dogs!

    That was horrendus.

He also had the worse Hiac match ever with Taker at Mania which was a squash match and of course then this horror with Big Slow which made The Katie Vic thing look classy.

Always had a soft spot for BBM after Mania 5 when him and Akeem destroyed the Rockers.

Bossman was always a guy I liked more than I should have. For a larger man he was really able to get about the ring quite quickly. I remember as a kid myself and the brother being absolutely captivated by the Nailz feud, the promos over the tannoy system and then Nailz coming through the crowd to absolutely pulverise him on Superstars. I'd never seen anything like it at the time and was totally gripped.

Definitely one of my faves. WWE needs to put out a Boss Man DVD set.

One of my favorites too. Back in the late 80's/early 90's he sure could move for a big guy!

And later as a heel, man could he antagonize that crowd! There's a GREAT Bossman promo on the Best of RAW 15th Anniversary DVD where he comes out and reads out a poem from a sympathy card he bought on hearing about the death of the Big Show's fathers death. Here it is..

"With the deepest regrets, and tears that are soaked,
I'm sorry to hear that your Dad finally croaked.
He lived a full life on his own terms,
Soon he'll be buried and eaten by worms.
But if I could have a son as stupid as you,
I would wish for cancer so I would die too
So be brave, and be strong get your life on track
Cause the ol' bastards dead and he ain't never coming back!"

Above all of Bossman's big moments (And by God he had a lot of them in his early days), his feud with Bobby Heenan over insults directed at his mother was pure classic.

The Survivor Series '88 match he was in was fantastic. His 1998 return was abysmal.

I always loved that moved he does where he slides under the bottom rope and smacks his opponent in the mouth who he had straddling on the 2nd ropes. The SummerSlam '91 sticks out but probably just because I watched that tape a lot.

he was ok good gimmick was good but more of a brawler than a wrestler
but what he did he did well

I really thought Bossman was going to win the IC belt that WM [WM7 IIRC] I still think they should have put the belt on him and let Mr.Perfect go after the WWF title.

He was one of my favourites when I was young. I first saw him work as a face, but he was a better heel: big, nasty and, most importantly, you believed he could win a match cleanly. WWE doesn't have enough guys like him IMO.

I was a fan of Bossman. Certainly he was no great shakes in the ring, but did what he did pretty well. Certainly should not have been challenging big show for the title that time!

Always thought it was a shame when his tag team with Bull Buchanan was ended. Bull was another big wrestler who was quite agile. That tag team had great promise, and could've been a good match against the APA.
