    Hi.

I've decided to do some modding on my Jaguar and just wondering if anyone with modding experience could perhaps recommend one or two things.

I have modded guitars before but it was years ago. I know how to solder and I have a routing device.

I'm planning on getting a bass VI plate but would like to use 3 of the switch positions as switches and one as a toggle switch for pick up selection.

My question would be about cutting out the new plate shape in the scratch plate itself. Has anyone had to do this and would there be a preferred tool to complete it? I was thinking of probably using a scalpel unless someone has a better suggestion.

    Thanks
