    Hi all,

I recently bought a new laptop and am wondering is it possible to use hardware that requires firewire despite not having a firewire port.

I want to use a high quality soundcard for recording music. So far Ive been using USB interfaces.

    Thanks

you could get an express card with firewire connection assuming you have an express card slot
