Hi, does anyone know a really good, safe (& cheap) wood preserver to use on fencing, raised bed edges, sheds etc. etc. I have looked at a few options at my local co-op including some stuff called "Creocote" which seems to be a substitute for the banned creosote. Also they had a range of Ronseal products & Cuprinol which seems to be only available in green ?
I was hoping to get something that might work as good as creosote but without the VOC's & evironmentally nasty stuff tht it contains ?
