Leg sore after acupunture

hi i've just had acupuncture want to know if its normal to feel sore just in one point just above my ankle it bleed alot after the acupuncturist took it out they also said when i said it was sore it might bruise would it be normal for that point in leg or is just me:) thanks

Hi my wife is an acupuncturist, she wants to know where exactly it is, is it the medial side of the leg? Do you know what point it was? was it 4 finger up from the ankle bone for example?
