Hi, wondering if anybody else has been in the same situation?
My partner and I are due to begin the last years of our college courses this September, however, I am expecting a baby in a few days and will be deferring for a year. Our parents earnings have always been just above the income threshold for a grant and we have always worked to support ourselves during college. Does anybody know if the arrival of a child wouild entitle my partner to a grant? Even some help with a registration fee would be great. He is halfway through his final degree, i.e. his honours degree takes 2 years. We are not married.
    I'd be grateful for any suggestions...Thanks :)

Are ye living together (i.e. cohabiting couple)? What ages are ye? You're still trying to apply for the grant under your parents income. I mean feel free to 'fill in the blanks' for me.
