I heard Wilie O connor is joining the PDC next year and giving the circuit a go. he's been traveling all around the country just for competitions to keep him sharp.

That rumour has been flying around for a while now.

He is throwing the best darts in the country at the moment but it is a big commitment to go on the PDC circuit - ask the other players who tried !

If he wins the Irish Matchplay on August 23rd. he will be off to a good start with almost € 4,000 in his pocket to cover some of his expenses.

He travelled around the country last year to gain the necessary points to qualify for the World Cup in America and after doing all the hard work he was dropped by the INDO ! ! !

    Why was that?

Apparently, he was invited to play on the Republic of Ireland team in the Six Nations Cup in Northern Ireland at the end of February.
He notified the INDO that due to work commitments on the Friday and Saturday he would not be able to attend.
He competed in the Ireland Players' Championship on the Sunday in Clonmel and they used that as an excuse to drop him.
