Why am I retching all the time?

    hi guys,

    wondering if anyone has had this problem before and how i may get rid of it! since before xmas i have constantly been retching morning/noon/night. nothing comes up,just retching all the time.

    i dont know what the cause of this is, and im plannin on going to see my doctor next week.. just wondering if this has happened to anyone before.

    Obviously go to the doc as you say. Do you smoke, did you burn your throath at any point. The fact this is going on for months is very odd. I've had it a little from fags, stress, hot food etc, but no more than a day or two!

    yeh i do smoke, and i suppose it mostly happens while smoking and just after a cig :rolleyes:

    I had the same thing for a little while a few months back.....turned out it was fizzy drinks that were causing it. I cut out the coke and havent had a problem since....but I would advise going to a doc anyway just to be safe

    yeh i dont drink any fizzy drinks.. but im definitely going to see a doc..
    im scared incase he tells me its cancer or something :(
