Great spin, a tough one, but yeah a nice one. I hated blorg for a few miles on the way back, but it's ok now I like him again. Maybe next time we can do the same thing the other way around for extra toughness? ( No wait ... I probably say that because I am still high on endorphines )

    I'll have a beer now ...

this from the same girl who was blaming dirk earlier for the level of hills in this spin?... glutton for punishment!

Excellent spin, found it really tough though, especially Djouce to Sally Gap. That road just goes on and on. I found myself thinking, quite seriously, that this would be quite good training for if I was ever captured and tortured. On my way home down Cruagh Road, going at some speed, some chump pulled out onto the road in front of me ON A F**KING HORSE and nearly killed me. Gave me that sheepish I-nearly-killed-you-but-hey smile one sees so often as a cyclist. A small downer on an otherwise great, if testing, day. Well done to all the boardsies, great performance by all. Thank you to everyone who gave me biscuits, and thanks to Blorg for the route.

I do believe I was alongside said rider when those(or similar) words were shouted. He took the words right out of my mouth.:D

Great route on a lot of roads I never even knew existed. Thanks Blorg. Was that a route from your book of easy spins?;)

Legs didn't work after Laragh and started to cramp right after we set off after lunch. It was game over from there and I was in get home mode. Stopped half way up Luggala by holding myself up against a large rock on the stone wall, just to make the burning in my legs stop. Really wanted to just get off and walk but I stayed mounted on my bike and tried to blank out the pain.

One of the toughest days I've had in the saddle for quite a while.
    Everything hurts.
Nice meeting a few more people and putting faces to names.

139k door to door and 1,971m climbing for me.

+1 on sentiment above, great day out, rain notwithstanding. Cheers to all, esp. blorg for route, photos and revelations that he used to be a 'man of girth'. Will def be doing again.

Also a freaky coincidence springing Rottenhat on the point of stuffing his face in Oliver's Eatery later on, completely random...

I like to think of myself as the voice of reason.
