Sunroom Floor

    Hi,

    Would tiles or wooden floor be better in a sunroom, anyone have any experience of this....cheers

    we have a conservatory at home with tiles. It would be fair to say it does be absolutely freezing. But we also move patio furniture in and out regularly so it better able to take the abuse than wood.

    I would think that tiles might be a better bet in a sun room - for the following reason. The sun room gets a lot of sun, the tiles will absorb a lot of this heat and when the sun goes down the tiles will release this heat back into the room.

    Have you underfloor insulation in? That will help avoid loss to ground.
