    I notice that digital subtitles are available on much more channels. Used to just available on the terrestrial UK channels (BBC, ITV, C4) but now its on RTE, Virgin, TV5 and more. It seems there are improvements continuing in the back ground.

    Wonders if the TV5 subtitles are in french or english. Must check!

    They are in French, but I think sone of the programs I usually watch also came up in German and Dutch... No English what I can recall!

    Polish TV sometimes has english subtitles.

    But, really even for non-French International Consumption, what language do you expect the French to subtitle with :)

    The Belgians are another story however.
