    Hey guys just looking to see if anyone knows roughly price of new front bumper for an 01 astra hatchback. i need to pick one up and i looking for a rough estimation before i hit the garages.
    anyone any ideas as having bit of trouble finding one on the net

    iirc, and I am not sure if I am, its been nearly 2 years since I last seen estiamtes...
    but I think it was €280 -€320 for the part... usually came primered...

    if its a 01 reg, maybe you should be looking at a second hand bumper....
    try ringing around a few auto breaker yards....

    The Astra is common enough, so you might be able to get one in your colour and save more money :)

    for genuine parts your looking at about €500 all in. the part could be about €300 primed from Opel, then add in the cost of a spray and fitting and then any little clips, bumber bar etc etc that you may need.


    on the other hand, if its just the bumper and you need no other parts, i had an EK 1998 civic a few years ago that i wrecked the front bumper on, and i picked up a spurious part from Artane Motor factors for €70, got it sprayed and fitted then for less than €100, but im sure things have gone up a little since then.

    Front bumper alone is €90.33 without fog lamp holes or €98.80 with them

    Not sure if it's primed, but painting and fitting would obviously be extra on top of that.
