Setting up a Buisness

    Hi Guys,

I'm working through setting up my own company and I was hoping I could pick the brains of the experienced here. I'll probably be constantly coming back here for more advice as i'm only asking questions as I encounter problems.

So the reason i started this was because to register a company we need a registered office address. Since there is more than one person involved in this venture of mine, can we use any of our address's? Since we're not renting an office, only renting an apartment and working from it

    Thanks!

You might want to think about not registering your company just yet. Try and build some sales first. However, if you have a lot of start-up expenses it's probably a good idea to register.

You can have a registered office at any address in Ireland. However, you might want to check with your landlord first because they might have a problem with having a registered company located in their apartment.

The registered office address can be commercial or residential but cannot be a PO Box number. Its just the address to where CRO and Revenue can correspond with the company.

Always make sure as well that its uptodate i.e. if you move, notify the CRO.

yea you can use your residential address initially , and simply update the address with the cro and revenue when you get an office.
