Energy Boosting foods

I am a bit low on energy at the moment - snoozing way too often. Probably a combination of work and gym.

Any suggestions? I like mostly all foods, vegetables although not a huge fan of fish. Cod and Haddock probably only ones I would eat.

my sister in law gets the same and when i was saying i felt wrecked she recommended me "source of life" its in a yellow bottle- about 500ml, its all vitamins, essential fatty acids, ginseng etc. Its green and a bit syrupy, tastes like tropical fruit drink and costs 38quid (a bit steep i know)
I took some this morning and i feel a little zing in my step already!

Best stick to wholegrain versions, white processed carbs will give a shortlived energy boost and you can dip later in the day, oats & whey in the morning for me.

I cycle to work, it really energises me, and I hear others say the same about early morning exercise -while those who do not do it presume it would tire you out. Exercise boosts serotonin and other "feel good" chemicals in the body, I think that is what does it.

Also the hottish humid weather slows most people down.

I train a lot in the morning and do agree that it really keeps me alert for the day. if i change my schedule and train lter on i always find myself sluggish come afternoon

I'm beginning to think it's something else that's causing the tiredness so I'm off to the doc this afternoon.

Thanks for the replies. Gonna look up that 'Source of Life' drinky thing (although I may not buy it!).
