    If a typical Phd lasts 3 years full time,would i be entitled to keep my grant for the 3 years at level 10? I am entering level 9 this october...

    Its a bit of a tricky one to be honest, a lot of it depends on your personal circumstances...

    From my experience if you are currently receiving a grant, the course that you are going to enroll in is a progression, and you have had no gap between the two courses you should qualify automatically without being re-assessed.

    BTW. I'd love to have signed up for one of those "typical" PhDs, I havent seen anyone finish one in less than 3.5 years, more often 4.5 +
