    Hi all,

am lovin my new 3GS having moved from an N95. One niggle though. When I connect to my bluetooth carkit I have to manually connect and this means going in via settings etc. Is there any quick shortcut to bluetooth that I could have on my homepage or via home button?

    Cheers

Not without jailbreaking. If you jailbreak, you can install a program called SBSettings, which, with a left to right swipe on the top menu (where the time is), brings up a screen with a number of on/off toggles for bluetooth, 3G, wi-fi and others.

    GTFO!

I installed SBSettings this morning and didn't know about the "left-right swipe" thing (only saw the icon).
Just tried it and it popped up! Nice one. :)

Nice! SBSettings and Siphon are the only reasons I jailbreak at this stage, truth be told.
