My mothers GP has diagnosed her with vertigo. we read up nhs procedure for checking this condition - check eye/ear. the gp did not do any examination, came to conclusion of vertigo and prescribed medicine.

I once atttended this gp with my wife and was appalled with his attitude. his surgery consisted of a bed and a desk with a PC - no medical instruments what so ever ,or any sign of books or medicines. this man looked more like a office worker.

My question is what can I do to complain about this GP? (in dublin area)
I dont mean a court case, but just to voice my opinions.

I asked my mother to see different doc in surgery. she cant move surgery as they are full ,not taking new patients.

I'm sure there are more than 2 doctors in Dublin.

Any complaint should most likely be directed to the HSE or the Medical Council.
