i tried every single type of reset and 'erase all data' after which i had to do a full restore and jail-break again with redsn0w. the phone works again but still no wifi.

ZiPhone won't detect the thing at all

apparently there is a wifi fix for Cydia but since i'm using a prepaid vodafone sim everything has to go through a proxy which i cant configure because i need to send over a proxy.pac through wifi which i don't have

i can get a data add on to my meteor sim on the 25th. but i have to wait till the 25th.

any ideas for a quick fix? none of the iphone's own reset features work
