    i was looking for information on the outlay when buying a house. if the house is 230000 and i am a first time buyer how much will i be charged

    Outlay when purchasing a house are things like stamp duty on deeds, fees of the land registry (property registration authority), swearing fees for declarations.

    They are standard fees that will be the same no matter what solicitor you use and can't be avoided.
