Posting this on behalf of the organisers:

The charity event is on Sunday 19th of July is to raise money for the Research Centre in Our Ladies Hospital in Crumlin for sick children. The hospital that is very much in the news of late and has been very helpful to my lovely daughter, Helen.

We are gathering as many classic cars in the car park at the Hunting Ground Diner on the Dublin Road at Athy. American and other classic cars are all welcome.
The diner has a large open car park where we will hold a static display of classic cars for the patrons of the diner to view , appreciate and donate money to the Research Centre by putting money in one of the many buckets we will have put around the locale.

Proceedings will start at 9.30am until lunchtime. Anybody who comes along to display a vehicle will be provided with food & drink (the foo here is good!)

    Below are directions:

The Hunting Ground Diner is just before you come into Athy town on the N78 from Dublin, on the left hand side of the road. If you are coming from the Portlaoise side, you drive straight through the town and past LIDL, King Oil & CONLANS service stations (all on your left hand side). Keep going straight until you pass the CLANNARD COURT HOTEL on the left & about 200metres on the right is THE HUNTING GROUND.

Best Wishes, Pete & Helen (& Heather)
    P.S. I can be contacted anytime on 087 9775900.

You realise this is the same day as Trim, pity as this is only around the corner from me. If you could change it for the following week you would probably get a bigger turnout.

I know yeah - I'm actually heading straight to Trim myself to try and keep a bit of space for some of the rest of the lads in our club who are going to this event. Pity, but there's always something on this time year!
