Those 93's and especially the Vector (full house) late models are going for good prices these days. The Aero is too expensive to insure/tax. I think your best bet would be to compare two of them on carzone or cbg.

At a guess the difference is spec.

The Sport would have larger alloy wheels, lowered sports suspension, sports seats, front & rear spoilers and side skirts.

nope, standard Vector has 17's, so does Vector Sport. Sport doesn't get spoilers or different bumpers either. it does have sportier seats than the old Vector had alright, it also has a metallic finish on the centre console. think they just changed to keep it inline with the Linear Sport badging.

interestingly (?) Vector Sport isn't available on the cabrio.

Not really worth calling it a Sport then.

    Unless you're Australian.

it is pretty agressive looking though and the normal Vector spec is great.

    from parkers.co.uk

The original model line-up consisted of Linear, Arc and Vector, plus a high-performance Aero model. Linear models get 15-inch alloy wheels, a CD stereo, headlamp washers and a leather steering wheel. Arc models add 16-inch alloys, leather upholstery, front fog lamps, cruise control, an on-board computer, arm rest, Poplar wood trim and climate control with a chilled glovebox. Range-topping Vector models get a metal-look interior trim, colour-coded exterior body mouldings, 17-inch alloy wheels, leather/textile sports seats plus a sports steering wheel and gearknob. Sport Aero models are the same as Vector, but with 17-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, sports kit and rear spoiler. The Arc trim was dropped from the line-up in 2004 and a Sport derivative was offered on both Linear and Vector models adding bigger alloys and extra equipment depending upon the model.

From mid 2007 the range was simplified to Airflow, Linear SE, Vector Sport and Aero trim levels. All cars have dual front, side and curtain airbags, dual zone climate control, air conditioned glove box, seven-speaker stereo system, front and rear electric windows and an information display. Airflow has 16-inch alloy wheels, Linear SE gains parking sensors, Vector Sport adds an electronic stability programme and leather steering wheel. Top-of-the-range Aero has special front and rear bumpers, twin sport exhausts, xenon headlights and heated front seats.

thats right, but I'm guessing the OP is buying in the UK(?)

I don't want to revive the UK v IRL debate, but I'm looking for a Saab or Volvo diesel for my daily commute, and the UK is full of cheap '08's.

I think in Ireland the Vector Sport (and Vector Storm) had the Aero alloys and spoiler and only had the 150bhp diesel
