glasan student village, literally 1 minute walk from the college. 80e a week for a singlw room, 50 if you want to share. theres a 780e deposit required for damage and to make sure u paay the electricity bills. internet is free to use i think!

gleann na ri is nice too, about the same cost as glasan, apartments are ok, quieter than glasan, party wise i think, but i dunno if thats good or bad..better sleep. about 10 mins walk to gmit, depending on wind conditions and walkin speed.

here a couple of areas to look out for; lurgan park, any where in renmore , bellmount, glan na ri,all these areas are 10-15 min walk to the college. if you go to galway on a wed morning the classified section come out from the galway advertiser i think around 10am! rooms have gotten cheaper, then it up to u what kind of place u want.

The area is grand across from GMIT pitch, much nicer than Ballybane and Castlepark

i have a room now for 60 a week...if you all look in the galway advertiser online, and look in accomodation to let, theres the cheapest houses you will find, much cheaper than the gmit student villages, closer to town too. id say the cheap houses are all gone, the next best thing would be 65 or 60 euro rooms.
