What do you think the recriminations for management and the board should be in a case like this?

I would think that numerous member of executive management & the board should have realised that these figures were incorrect before they were initially released.

What steps do you think the company can take to restore investor confidence here? Who do you think should go for this? CEO, CFO, relevant business segment directors?

it is a scandal and the company are spinning it that it was just a clerical error of someone copying the wrong numbers across from a spreadsheet. the management of c&c are at fault, they should have know well in advance of the numbers whether revenue was up or down and for them not to spot the error straight away makes you wonder what else they are missing

It seems fairly obvious that Pear Cider is not performing as they expected, the unchanged in Ireland is not great even taking into account the novelty factor sales! -12% not -4% in UK for gods sake!!!

I THINK that there was some skulduggery afoot!?!? A mistake of this magnitude is a little hard to swallow, particularly as it caused such an obvious rally and sharp decline.

I think there should be a fraud squad investigation, and they should track who offloaded their shares at the appropriate time too!!!
