    Great forum lads - long time lurker but only taking the plunge recently.

    Just wondering here - an average 4 bed, 2 storey house, roughly 2500 sq ft - what would you do?

    Block or timber frame?
    What kind of insulation?
    Solar?
    Windows?

    Let's say we have an average budget. What would the "experts" do?
