    Hello all.
I am trying to load some photos from my digital camera onto my dell desktop. .. Windows xp.
I have loaded the kodak easy share (which I got with the camera) .
When I connect camera cable to pc I get the message..
usb malfunction. I have followed the various steps to correct this but I get the message back that all is working. ..

    Any ideas
    Tks

My first rule of computer problems is "check the cables" so my suggestions are (i) try a different cable, (ii) try a different usb port (iii) try a different PC if you have one (iv) uninstall the software and then plug in the camera to see if PC recognizes it natively. Hope these help.

If your plugging it into the front USB most Dells wont be able to power it, try the back USB.
