Tracking someone down

    hi all

    im trying to find someone in spain for a really important reason.i know only his name and the year he was in ireland.i have no other information to go on. just wondering does anyone know of any suggestions of a way to track someone down abroad. i really dont even know where to start.

    You could try there what they have done here on occassion - make a plea to some of the local radio stations for him to get in touch - via the station.

    Might just work - other than that - have you exhausted all the friends he used to have here? They might have a forwarding address.

    Or - ask the school/university if they can pass on your contact details - this way they are not revealing anything...
