Hello. I am a member and have been for the last 3 years
In the last year or so, it has been totally done up with a new gym etc.
I only use it for the gym
It has a pool, squash courts, a sports hall for indoor soccer, basketball etc. 2 tennis courts, sauna, fitness studios for classes and some virtual golf thing

So with the re devlopment, the gym has got bigger with more equipment but they seem to be taking on more members now so it does be busy enough, usually busy on Monday, Tuesday, Wedenesday between 5pm and 7pm
I usually use the gym between these times > after work so cant comment on what its like at other times. When I use it at the weekend , its usually quite

It has a good range of fitness equipment . loads of bikes, tread mills, cross trainers. etc.

To be honest, the free weights section is a bit small in size
There are 4 free benches there. They have dumb bells up to 50 KG's , they have 2 smith machines BUT they have no Olympic bench which is a big neagtive

in the gym area they also have multiple resistance machines, shoulder press, back machine etc.

they seriously need a free olympic bench though ( as opposed to the smith machine )

staff are friendly and has a nice atmosphere

    hope that helps !!

The pool there doesn't use chlorine, was always noticeable even during a 100m race

yeah it's an ozone treated pool, but still uses some chlorine albeit at a low level: 0.5ppm

I mentioned this to them. I was told that if enough people requested it that they would get one. Might be an idea to get some member together on this , write a 3 liner letter and we all sign it with our membership numbers and see what happens?

    cojomo2,

so you mentioned to sportsco the idea of getting a free olympic bench ??

I would definitely sign a petition for that

Presume you are a current member in sportsco ?
