Its a bit slow in here this afternoon so I thought I'd throw this in. I'm just wondering about the classification of cyclists,

At what stage does one become a cyclist? Does mere ownership of a bike make you one or is there a quota of mileage per year? What do you call one who commutes but never cycles for leisure or pleasure? If you take part in sportives and cycle as training are you an avid cyclist, do you say 'I'm into cycling' or are you then a sports cyclist?

Meaningless questions really just curious what ye think......
