I have a rabbit borrow down the bottom of my garden, much to the delight of my 3 year old who loves trying to catch them . I was watching them this morning through binos and spotted a young fox coming up along the hedge on the other side of the garden. The bunnies scampered and I watched Mr. Fox continue up along the hedge row for about 15 minutes. Then he went through the fence into my neighbours.

About 20 minutes later my wife and I were watching the bunnies, who had come closer to the house, from the Patio door when Mr. Fox comes charging through the fence at a rate of knots with next doors fox terrier in hot pursuit. He came down the side of the house and IN THE PATIO DOOR!!!:eek:closely followed by the terrier, much to the screams of my wife! :D

They did about 2 laps of the sitting room before I got the front door opened and both took of out through the open door and down the garden.

Talking to my neighbour , it seems Mr. Fox was eating from the dogs bowl:D:D Brave or what??

To say that this was quite a morning would be an understatement.

Just thought I would share it with ye. Also shows the cubs are out hunting on their own!

    FS

On the down side is any issues with sharing the garden with bunnies for the kids , apart from the holes?

No Misty came back and spent ages sniffing around the place barking her head off.

Homerhop, it was really a "Kodak moment"

The best bit was when they tried to turn out the kitchen door and both went SLAP off it :) You cant beat ceramic tiles :)

Few years ago I painted the sitting room ceiling & wallpapered the room. Final job was glossing the white skirtings, doorframe & doors.

When glossing was finished went with wife & kids to visit mother-in-law as gloss takes ages to dry & is a nuisance with young kids around.

Returned a few hours later & went in to check my handiwork - in bits...young starling had falled down the chimney & flew around the room, constantly banging off the window, covered in soot!

Ceiling, carpet, couch, chairs & wallpaper destroyed with soot ....'tacky' gloss paint specked with black spots of soot,.... when I walked into the room it went berserk...bouncing off everything.

Dug out the fishing net out of the shed & eventually released it in the middle of the 'green' .....right pain the the rear end!!!
