Haven't done one yet either. If nothing accrues here then you could always ring the local environment section of your council

    Good find syd.

But I think the 2000 P & D Act is shorter than that

I've made one in the past for site filling of sub-soil. As it was only sub-soil (something like 6,000 lorry loads involved), it was fairly straight forward. If other waste had been involved it would have been a little more complex. The Council were helpful.

I'm involved in running 1 of these sites.
Things have tightned up alot in this area in the last year.
    What size is the site?
If the site can take more than 100000 tons then an epa licence is required.
The EPA is also pushing co co's to require an EIS if you take in 25000 tons per annum.

I'll pm you my no. if you want to discuss it.

If the site is only taking up to 5,000 tonnes, you don't need a permit, only a (COR) Cirtificate of Registration from the EPA. No cost and a turn around of 15 days.

I think the Cert of Reg is issued by the local authority not the EPA.

My computer is acting up at the minute, other then that I would link it for you, it is the EPA a COR is got from (well the last one I got was from them)
