    Hi,

    I'm kinda new to this section of boards, and I don't know if it's cause of the TDF or because I really want something to do with my days(I think it's more the latter) but I really would like to get started in road cycling.

    So my question is basically what would be the initial costs to getting involved?! i.e. reasonable bike, gear, helmet etc....

    Any help and advice will be really appreciated!
